Manual therapy… does it work?

Manual physical therapy… does it work?

Too many people shit on manual therapy. Too many health professionals don’t know enough about manual therapy. Too many health professionals are completely incompetent when it comes to manual therapy application and implementation. Too many health professionals are closed off and believe rehab will fix all – this is the biggest mistake of them all.

You will not venture outside your own beliefs and ways of practising if you don’t believe there is a need to. My advice to those who are anti-manual therapy: go hang out with a remedial massage therapist for one day and ask why clients see them over a Physio, or any other health professional.

One thought to leave with you – if manual therapy didn’t work, why are there so many businesses built on it? Why are there so many people who seek it out?

The information contained in this article is general in nature and you should consult a health professional before  proceeding with any treatments mentioned in the above article.
